Important Notice 16 Feb 2017

Dear Members

The time of year for membership renewal is almost here again. This year the board has decided that certificates will be issued from date of payment till 31 March 2018. Therefore to enable full year coverage, the invoices will be sent out beginning of March 2017. If your fees get paid through the Landbouvereniging or Conservancy this invoice will be sent to them. Certificates will be sent to you once payment has been received.
To ensure your invoice and certificates gets sent to the right person and details such as Farm names and trading names, etc are correct please fill in the Update of Information Form 2017 before 1 March.
If there are other specifications such as vendor forms, bank letters, etc, please email Huimari Franken on officewfpa@gmail.com.

 

Update of Information 2017

Each member must please fill this form in annually. This is to make sure we have your up to date contact information. This year we have created a Google form for fast and easy submission, however we also have the form in PDF format for those preferring to print and return.

Membership fees 1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018

At the AGM in May 2016 you the members approved an annual fees increase by the CPI.
Therefore the new membership fees are as follows:
R200        Joining fee
R700        Annual membership per property/business unit
R3750      Annual membership for Municipality
R0.53/ha  Annual membership for State land
R27/km    Annual membership for road, rail and lines

 

Late payment fee

The board has also decided to implement the late payment fee, which is the joining fee of R200. This will be implemented now for late payments in 2016-2017.
Therefore all payments made after 90days of invoice date will need to pay this fee with their next membership fees!!

 

AGM & FMU General meetings

The AGM will be on 10 May.
Leading up to the AGM each Fire Management Unit will be holding a general meeting to vote for their new leadership if so required and to vote for their representatives to the AGM. This is not to prevent people from attending the AGM, but to ensure sufficient representation from all areas.
